where to live in Northern Va ?

Being a (damn) yankee I find I may have to (get to?) move south to work near Ft. Belvoir. I suppose I should try and find a place that is near some ACW site so I can have the fun of digging in my own back yard.

Just curious if anyone has any suggestions?

Everywhere in Northern Va. is an ACW site my friend. You will be near where so much action took place. However,..... head to the Shenandoah Valley. It is still fairly pristine as compared to Metro Washington D.C area. Most of that area (ft. Belvior) is concrete jungle but I know guys who still dig there when construction is going on. You will be in CW relic mecca as compared to New England, what with all the battle action at Manassas and Fairfax and Winchester, ect..ect..ect.
