Smile Bullet Identification NJ

I found these in New Jersey. I think they are civil war, possibly .58 caliber. I believe they are union bullets due to the three rings (I read that somewhere before). I have about a pound of these things, shot and dropped it looks like. Any help would be very appreciated. I just want to figure out what exactly they are.
