Default Can you help ID this button. T on Shield

I found this button in a Militia Field in Southern NH. I also found a large cent there from 1803. Maybe it is a snap and not a button? The other looks like a Tombac.

I believe this is your button or the backmark anyway. I am not sure what the "T" stands for. Most likely Militia. It is circa 1770-1800 according to the Tice button book.

Default Tombac

Thanks Eddie. That is the button on the right, a Tombac. I'm still trying to get help with the other one with a "T" on it.
