Default Columbia button

Hi,

I found this button today. Does anyone know anything about it?

Thanks,
Eddie

The "Schools & Universities" section of the Albert button-book shows a button which is absolutely identical to yours except it says Clason instead of Columbia. This rather strongly indicates your button is also a School/University button, perhaps Columbia University.

The particular style of "Superior Quality" backmark on your button dates from approximately the 1920s to 1970s or so.

Regards,
Pete [P.C. George]
