D Evans Buttons labeled E.L.E. & Co London??? Help pleas
I have a jacket with some buttons with a nautical front Eagle and anchor and a backmark E.L.E. & Co London, with rope ring around the shank. This looks like a Tices's NA227 . What I don't get is that Tices says that this button was made by D Evans . Was this made in the US and shipped to a... -

Can you provide info on this button?
I have a question on this button - it is a Naval button still attached to a jacket so I can't really show the reverse. The backmark reads E.L.E. & CO LONDON (All caps). It is larger than a cuff button but smaller than a coat button. Any idea about the age, or info on the manufactuerer? Any idea... -

Mystery Musket. Any ideas what it is?
:-? Yup I am Confused. This is a dug musket - german ? El Cheapo conversion from flintlock? Brass parts, Appears military as on other side of lock plate its reads 2nd CP No 119. Any ideas???
