I found all this lead in about a 10 foot spot with some other Civil War relics. The U shaped piece looks like it has had something screwed into it. Could this be from an exploded shell? Thanks

    ID Request

I am hunting a 200 acre farm where there was suppose to be a Union camp during the civil war. I was wandering if this could be anything to do with a civil war camp. I was hoping to narrow down my searching from the whole 200 acres. BEAR
