The projectile appears to be missing its conical nose-cover (called the "windshield") and/or missing its fuze. That will make identification more difficult, because most ID-rederences show completely-intact projectiles.
I can't be certain from just viewing the single side-view photo, but it appears to be a 1920s-1940s antitank projectile. The rifing-marks on its copper/brass sabot (called a "driving band" in the 20th-century) show that it is a fired specimen.
