A Nice AVC Button

Thought some of you might want to gaze upon a nice AVC button - I could have mugged the guy but figured he'd track me down. Now wouldn't it be nice to have a closet full of these things still attached to uniforms?

Wow! Great button with an awesome back mark!

I sold a non dug example with a "Scovill " RMDC back mark for a grand, so that boy should pass that level! The Miss. button in the next post is late, that style and back mark are 1870's-80's.

I did what I can ill afford to do - ordered a Tice and an Alberts - will be eating housecats before end of month, but will have fun reading and have something to look at. Can you advise me on an NMC Cadet button?

Need some descriptive info.

Thanks for your interest and VBR,

Bill

I don't have a closet full but I do have one with 80% of the buttons atached. The coat is not in great shape but the buttons are original to the coat.

I am interested in parting with one of the buttons to help my son but an engagment ring. Let me know if interested.

Selma Hunter, I am new to this site and not sure my reply to your post made it through. I have a single coat with most buttons. Obtained by my step father who was an avid Civil War collecto, hung on a coat hanger in the basement for years, r and given to me by my mother. I'm considering selling one of the buttons if you know anyone interested.
