Southern by the grace of God! Dint get me wrong I had relatives that fought for the Union in one instance brother against brother. I was raised in MS and I will always be Southern. I love it and would not live anywhere else!

I had relatives on both sides. My mother was an airforce brat and born in Illinois. The paternal side of the family is very southern. The 3rd house down on this site was built by my Grandfathers, great great grandfather. Last time i went out there (to MD), i helped the current fox a door whose 158 year old hinges were failing. that was neat.
I was born in MS and have lived here and LA all my life, so I have a greater connection to the southern side of my lineage. Although some say i don't talk like it! :lol:
