Re: Farm Field Finds 10-19-08

Hi TN MXT
Sounds like you have a great search site. Nice Sharps you have there. Can you tell if it is a US or CS Sharps. My two hunting buddies and I found a CS encampment near Leesburg, VA and found six 52 Sharps that were CS. The difference is that the CS copied their Sharps and did not make the bullet molds with the rings as distinct as the US version. My suggestion is to search that area and dig up every signal you get, remove everything and repeat this over and over. You will find that after a while all you will hear will be faint signals and these are what you want to go after. Do you recycle your scrap metal? This is the only 'finds' that I sell, brass fittings, pieces of brass and copper, aluminum cans, and iron. I do this to help clean up the environment and clear my search areas, as well as put some money into my pocket.

I hope to see more pictures of your finds! Best of luck. Be safe in all you do.

I'm a firm believer in your whole post. The sharps was one of those faint signals at between 8-10 inches. This new coil Ive been using is a winner. Good luck to you, will have new post soon Scott
