Cost to Gov. for shell ?

Hi,
With the prices of collecting shells now days I was wondering if any of you might know what it cost the government during the war for shells like the 3" hotchkiss, borman balls, 10lbparrets etc ?
 
On June 6th,1863 Ames sold the govenment 464-12 lb shells for $3.00 each,on 8-8-64 834-3.8 inch shells for $2.20 each and on 8-31-64 1320-3.67 inch canisters for $2.20 each.Also the timed fuses were $.70 each.
