how about junk? LOL. We have found lots of that! I can identify lots of general Civil War relics from having to track down all of the different types of stuff we find. I am NO expert, but I would be happy to help with what I can.

That is the point he is knowledgeable about buttons particularily CW buttons. He he does not know he says so and tries to help with what or who he knows. He offers it as help without ever claiming to be the expert with all the knowledge. He is just a very nice helpful person who happens to like collecting buttons as we do bullets. He asks for bullet help just like we ask for button help.
