Rifle Model match for Worm

Could someone match this worm to a weapon Model year? I believe it come from an Model 1841 Rifle or Altered rifle and there any other models that this worm could belong to?

I vote for it being to a later (later than a '41 that is) model, smaller caliber (.54 cal.) weapon. There were larger diameter worms for the .69s.

I must have been asleep when I looked this pic at first. I agree with Jim.

I guess that is what I get for being on the Delivery deck for 36 hours without sleep. 36 hours: 7 deliveries.
