Hi Guys,
I found this elliptical ring near the area where I found the broken horseshoes. It appears to be iron but in fact is BRASS.
Maybe it's a strap ring for a saddle or some type of tack-related item ?
The ring is 3.25 inches long and 1.25 inches wide. No breaks or openings, one solid piece.
Any input is appreciated. Thanks.
