Small Unknown Buckle

Hi Gang.

I need some help here. This thing looks too small and too delicate to be Civil War. I'm thinking a cat or small dog collar buckle ?

Measurements are LENGTH: 1.75 inches, WIDTH: 1.0 inches.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks !

It's a suspender buckle, and most probably CW. Some are dated (I have one with 1860 on it), and one I've seen has "Paris" printed on it. Good find!

I've yet to clean this relic, so maybe with a little TLC, I'll see a date or other markings. If so, I'll update the post.
