30 Years War Relics 1618 - 1648
Here are couple pics of the finds from a day hunting on the 30 years war battlefield of Noerdlingen in southern Bavaria. In this battle two Swedish armies were defeated by the Imperialist troops on 5-6 Sept. 1634.
A nice 6 pounder solid shot still in the hole and the other all of the finds from the day. Brad

Brad,
What would be the standard issue Bavarian/Swedish military weapons in 1634? Also, you seem to have at least two different diamter roundballs there. Are the larger size bullets or case? Great finds, TomH
