I think harmonicas were the "iPod's" of the 1800's.

Wonder if in 100 years from now treasure hunters will find pieces of iPods everywhere.

Then I wonder what will be used in that 100 years from now?

Hi My Fellow TH'ers
Great finds you have there! I really like your canteen caps. We find those from time to time here in Virginia. The trouser 4-hole buttons are so nice when you find them not all rusted up. That piece of lead at the top next to the canteen caps appears to be a lead pencil used to write home from the field. Those are great finds and most TH'ers have no idea what they are when they find them so either toss them away or put them into a unknown pile.
Best of luck with the search site, I would clear out every signal I could then go over it again and again. Dig up every signal you get and keep searching it.
Best of luck
Dave

Dave, Thanks for the reply. Your much nicer than my hunting buddy Tn Cobra!!! I previously hunted this one field with a 6x10dd coil for my Mxt and thought it was pretty much picked clean. Just got the super12" and hit this field and the Union main line for the two day battle here. WHAT A DIFFERENCE WITH THE NEW COIL! Cant wait to get out with Tn Cobra. Thanks for the post and good hunting to you, Scott
