New to the forum but not to military collecting although this is out of my field. I have an associate that wants to sell this flag. First thing I need to do is get a positive ID and determine that it is 100% authentic. From what I have found out/ been told it appears to be a confederate veterans flag.
I have black lighted it and there is not one synthetic fiber in the entire flag. The man how owns this bought it out of an estate in Michigan about 15 years ago. Story was it was brought back put in a linen drawer and left there ever since.
Any help would be appreciated.
