Default Does this breast plate look original/authentic?

Looks to be lead filled. Does it look like the real thing?

The one I dug had the same rust marks on the back. Some kind of iron fastner that rusted away from years of being in the ground. Looks pretty good to me.

Hi My Fellow TH'ers
Yes your breast plate looks authentic. I have been fortunate to have located three so far and they all have the rust marks on the reverse and one has the rust through the front. Those were the mounting rings that were iron and over the years they rust off. Very nice find! Congratulations!
