Default 5 button day

Got a chance to take the new MXT w/ the Super 12 out for a spin this am. I also had some pleasant company in the form of my oldest daughter

We ended up pulling 5 GS eagle buttons- 2 of which are in super shape, and a few minies/sharps as well.

I'm going to like the MXT I think- very easy to use and it really hits on bullets. The buttons were approx 5' or so and they came in really nice and had a soft ping to them
overall very impressed w/ the MXT - I hit on 4 of the buttons in a 20 ft area , three of which were in 4 ft of each other (camp slob maybe) lost all his buttons bad for him- good for us!

Wow! Buttons at five feet deep :exp . I never got that kind of depth with MY MXT. Guessing it was five inches. All in all, a good day. Great to hunt with your kids. Makes it even more special.

keep on diggin'

I stand corrected by the p'nut gallery-it was inches " vice ' defintiely too hot to dig anything 5 ' down unless X marked the spot!

It was a good day and the only day my new Super 12 worked properly- next time out it was cuasing excessive falsing/ overload- troubleshot down to a loose wire in ht ecoil- traded it for a new one from the dealer - cant wai tto get back out w/ the Super its a good coil and much lighter than the DD1400
