Default New guy help.

Hello forum. As you can see my name is Corey MacLeod. I am new in the world of civil war collecting. I want to start hunting to dig. How is it that I live in the first state to leave the union and the only battlefields are on the coast? Anyways, anyone have any areas in the upstate of SC to hunt? Anyone have any dug bullets to offer for sale to a new collector? My great-great-great grandfather fought at Antietam. His name was Samuel Cole Wright. He was a member of the 29th Mass. in Company E. I visited that battlefield this past weekend and it has really sparked the fire. IF you can be of assistance I would appreciate it.

Check out Dave Poche's website and buy his book on CD or all 3 - they are the best all aorund source on how to research and find sites systematically search and recover relics, etc.

If it weren't for great logisticians there'd be no relics to find.
