in the same yard. The house was built in 1850 and is located in NW Missouri. I was actually detecting this house looking for old coins, boy was I surprised when I popped these out of the ground.
I have been searching the Official Civil War Record online looking for places to metal detect and have always wanted an easier way. I finally found The Official Record on CD Rom and the price isn't too bad.

I found these 2 items this past Sunday in North West Missouri in the yard of a house built in 1850. I know they are Box Plates but I would like to know how rare they are and an estimate of they are are worth. I understand they are not in great condition but they sure do look nice in my display...
