2 US Belt Plates found in the same day

in the same yard. The house was built in 1850 and is located in NW Missouri. I was actually detecting this house looking for old coins, boy was I surprised when I popped these out of the ground.

Congratullations, Dathvick! :) For any civil war relic hunter in the 21st Century, that's an exceptionally uncommon occurrence.

The best single day I ever had for plates-&-buckles was 3 in one day ...but that was nearly 30 years ago, when there were still plenty of them in the ground. So again, my congratulations to you!

In your photo, the buckle on the right seems to be significantly smaller than the one on the left. If so, you did extra-good. In case you don't already know... the smaller US Oval buckle is much-much more rare than the larger version.

Does your small buckle have two attachment-hooks on its back side, or three?
