    Mysterious shell fragment dug in East TN

    Dug Enfield Trigger Assembly

    Found this while hunting with my friend, "Tn Cobra!" Its an enfield trigger assembly part 13 on the blown up diagram for this rifle. Found this in an area that switched hands towards the end of the war. Cobra give me a shout when you want to head out again. Thanks for looking, Scott 8)

    Got out this morning after the soaking rain we had. After an hour of digging I recovered a musket ball, poss. a pistol bullet, iron canister shot, a partial nose cone, and a cannonball chunk.     Battle Field Finds 10-19-08

    Got out for an hour. Found a sharps, a fired pistol bullet, copper spoon end, smashed bullet, brass spic-ate, other copper pieces, and misc iron. Thanks for looking.

    10-16-08 Finds

    Found these items on a field I thought was picked clean!! The one bullet I think is a sharps, the other bullet is unrecognizable, I believe the one in the middle is an Enfield, a knapsack stud, and the broken end to a copper spoon/fork. Not much to see but still something.
