    Found this button at a construction site in Downtown Nashville, TN. Has an EXTREMELY rare back mark HEBBERT & CO LONDON. This is my first Confederate button and also my first Navy button.

    I just thought I would post this button for a you all to drool over. It is a pre-war flower button that is loaded with gold gilt. The back-mark is Benedict & Burnham which dates it from between 1834-1843. I dug this button on Jan 14, 2010 at the home site of Col. James D. Bennett 9th TN Cavalry CSA.

    Bullet ID help please

    The bullets I need help with are the 2 smaller ones. I am pretty sure the larger one is a Sharps. The smaller bullets have a single ring near the bottom. I think they are 44 or 45 cal. Found this week on the Hartsville, TN battlefield with owners permission.
