I know that this topic has been brought up before but, I was just wondering what other books are out there about identifying bullets. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi rebel digger,
I use "Civil War Bullets & Cartridges by James E. Thomas and Dean S. Thomas. It's a small book but covers a good variety of the more common bullets we incounter. Also I have a CD that I bought from Thomas J. Stelma that I use extensively when trying to identify my bullets. It's a great CD and I highly recommend anyone to get it. Those are the resources that I use to ID most of my bullets.

Digger,
When you order the book ask for an autograph. It might work for you. The book has been a help and it's pretty thorough. Look at mine sometime.

Rebel digger: To get the CD you will have to email Tom Stelma. He is on this board occassionally. Go to the members list and find his name, it should have his email address. Give him a buzz and see if he still sells the "Some Civil War Bullets" CD. Good luck.
