I found three of these this past week. The only thing I could come up with was maybe a fuze. It appears to be copper sticking out of the end. I am not sure what the sides are made of but they are flaking off and do not appear to be metallic. I have found musket and pistol balls in the same area. If someone can help me identify them I would appreciate it.
