Lothar: I am doing some research on rifles referred to as "Dresden" or sometimes "Hanover" by federal troops of the Civil War. Would you happen to know the length of the barrel on the following:

M1835 Saxon Infantry Rifle musket (17,8mm with 4 barrel grooves)
M1852? Saxon Infantry Rifle Musket with tige (18,0mm with 5 grooves)
M1844 Liege-made Saxon Rifle (18,0mm with 5 grooves)
M1851/M1857 Liege-made Saxon rifle musket (14,7mm with 4 grooves)

Thank you and
alle the best,

Nemo :D
