Found this Virginia button ( backmark W. WILDT & SONS dot RICHMOND VIRGINIA dot) while hunting the front yard of an elderly lady who gave me permission to poke around. Her front yard is smack in the middle of the OLD STAGE ROAD that was the major artery between the coast and Richmond. Ijust hope there is a nice confederate buckle to be found .The place looks extremely promising.
