hello, new to the board, glad to be hear.

I found this button this morning while hunting near a turned field in Upstate NY. I can't find it in any references, anybody have any idea what it is?

Hello Melrose:

I’ve been thinking about your button since you first posted and found the answer this morning. It appears to be a New York Central Railroad uniform button. There is one on eBay currently. It simply lists “vintage”—time period unclear—but there is a National New York Central Railroad Museum in Elkhart, Indiana, that may be of help.
