C S Buttons

Hi,I'm posting pics of the small ACW collection I have.I have two plates which are at present on that forum and I'd like to get some opinions please on the C S and Union buttons I have.They're mostly dug and were purchased around 1992-93,any comments would be appreciated,cheers,

If you also want an opinion about the two buttons...

Your "lined" Roman letter A button was made in England for the Confederacy and imported through the yankee Navy Blockade. This specific type ("lined" Roman letter A with a PERFECTLY-ROUND loop on the back) was manufactured ONLY between 1862-65.

Your VMI (Virginia Military Institute) Cadet button with the backmark "R. & W. Robinson" inside a ribbon was made sometime between 1835 and 1855. (The VMI buttons with a D. Evans & Co. backmark date from the 1850s into the 1870s --- so, unlike the D. Evans type, your Robinson-made VMI is one of the "good" ones.
