Look out Wes, we're heading your way!

Dean is still researching for the CS stuff in "Round Ball" part 4, so he and I are heading to East Texas for 4 days...we heard they might have made some bullets out there! :grin:

We'll be visiting two cartridge manufacturing sites in Houston, then we're off to Anderson, Tyler, Marshall, and then into Louisiana. I've got your phone number Wes, so if we're near, we'll be in touch.

Have those tacos ready...........

We had a great trip through east Texas and Louisiana!

Met up with Wes (Txreb) on Thursday night south of Shreveport and had a good visit. See the pic...that's me, Wes, and Dean. Wes, Thanks again for your hospitality! :up

Visited several locations where the CS made ammunition and visited with several collectors, historical societies, and archeological firms who shared their impressive collections with us.

The other pics are of the markers at some of the sites...Anderson, Tyler, Marshall, and Houston Ordnance Works.
