Most of these so called explosive bullets found in Canada are actually variations of the Snider Enfield bullet. There are several variations based on MarkI through Mark IX. Some have hollow tips and some do not. Some have clay and wood fillers in the tips. The bases are fitted with plugs of wood, iron, and ceramic clay. Most of these are found on Prince Edward Island and the majority are the Canadian version of the Snider bullet. All of the bullets are post ACW.
