Love your site! I hate to sound so ignorant but do you use gloves because the bullets are lead and they protect you from exposure? Or are you just keeping your hands clean so you won't dirty up your metal detecting equipment? I'm just a curious onlooker... :lol:
No, I use gloves because I think the oil from touching the bullets may, over time, do something to the patina. I'm not worried about the lead or anything, just do it to keep the bullets oil-free.
