Hey Folks,

Just wanted to take a moment to wish everybody a Happy Thanksgiving.

Remember, whichever side of the Mason Dixon (or Mississippi if you prefer) that you hail from you are still Americans and have the patriotic responsibility to do your best to eat yourself into an l-trytophan induced coma on this national day of gluttony. If you don't ... the terrorists (or terrists ... if you are a member/fan of the current administration) win!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hard to believe another year has passed. Here's a link to my post from last year:

I think it holds as much this year as it did last year and as the original proclamation did 142 years ago.

My mother and mother-in-law came to visit us and immediately ended up in the same Chicago-area hospital Saturday where they will be enjoying turkey loaf today. A little added holiday stress does not obscure the feeling of having been blessed again this year, however, and I hope each of you feel the same.
