I am new to this forum and would like to ask your help in identifying this bullet. I found it while metal detecting in a very old park in Davenport, Iowa. It has a flat bottom, two rings, and is .5 inches in diameter. I would like to know if this might be from the Civil War Era, what type of weapon fired it, and any other info. that you could provide regarding it's origin, etc.
