Hello all, found a button on a civil war site I frequently dig. This button has the eagle with the arrows on one side and the olive branch on the other. Above the eagle's head there is a crown instead of 13 stars and there is no shield across the eagle's chest. The button is flat and there are two holes were it apparently was sewn on. Can anyone help identify this button. I'll post a picture when I get home.
