NC Campground Mystery Find ???

Hey Ya'll,
It's been a while since I have posted, so I hope everyone is feeling 'fine as frog hairs.' This week I was able to metal detect a NC CSA Camp. Below are pics of what I think is a saddle or bridle rosette/plate and a disk/flat button (marked PLATED on the back) The large iron piece is a complete mystery. All 3 were found within 3 feet of each other. As you can see it is approximately 3 3/4 inches in diameter with 8 smaller holes, and 1 large one in the middle. The center is raised approximately 1/2 inch. Anyone have any ideas? I have another mystery item which was found within 10 feet, but was not as deep, and I will make another post for that one.

Another Mystery Item

This item was found in the same area as the CW button, saddle shield, and unknown iron item. It has a black rubber cord, and resembles an officer's hat cord. As you probably know. rubber was used invented before the CW and was used during that time. Any help on this one would be appreciated.
