Hello, I was wondering if someone could help me identify if this is a tintype of a Confederate soldier. I cannot make out the letters on his belt buckle. Maybe someone can tell me from his unifrom. I found it in the bottom of a toolbox and took it out of the frame to scan it. My family has lived in central GA since before the Civil War. Thank you for the help.
