Hello My Lost Friends!
Worked 9+ hours today, was digging a new spot by 3:00. After crossing a fence about 300 yards from where I parked I flipped out a .69 Round, then an Enfield, Enfield, Nose Cast .577 three groove minie, .69, .69 and they kept coming! Best day I've had in a long while even though it was only a hour and a half hunt! Got all the bearings and property lines before leaving for the return trip tomorrow. I searched a very small area and the place is looking GREAT thus far!
I have a question for the bullet experts. The three rounds on the top row are larger than the normal .69. The only one that I could measure was .710 to .735. What Rifle shot these?

Anyway, A CS Camp For Sure!!! I'll scope it out better tomorrow!
Wish Me Luck, Happy Hunting, Roger

Happy for you and your Great finds

Hi Roger
So happy that you located a super site. Very nice finds you have there. I would have had to stay longer than an hour and a half. I think they would have to hog tie me to get me out of a site that was providing such nice finds. I do wish you well on the return trip. Please do spend more time and dig those faint signals. In a site such as yours I would have to search it in slow-mo. Listen for the faint signals and dig up all of them. Keep moving the boundary of your search area and don't give up on any signal. I don't mean to pick on your digging skills or anything like that but I suggest that you dig sightly larger holes to avoid dinging your targets. I noticed that several of your finds had been clipped. I noticed that if the ground is a bit on the dry side I tend to clip my finds so have adjusted my digging method by enlarging my holes by an inch on each side and two or three inches to the depth. I hope these hints might help. Good luck on your next search. :)
