Greetings all, took some time off over the memorial day weekend to do a wild pig hunt in South Carolina, when I booked the trip I casually asked the host if there were any metal detecting oppertunities. The only place he knew of was an OLD home site located near our hunting camp, needless to say my detector went with me. I was only able to hunt a couple of hours during the trip but it was definatly worth while. The hand forged hoe has been the first one I have found that has been complete, pottery shards and shoe tap were cool but the 1852 3 cent silver was a real bonus. Enjoy the pics,

Congratulations on the pigs ! Did you see where the Hogzilla killed in Alabama was farm raised ? Ain't quite the same thing is it ?
