I returned to the Old Home Place (pasture) Saturday evening after work for a short hunt. Sunday morning I returned to the woods and ran the machine with less discrimination. The machine had a loose wire but has a minor problem as well. My friend Ken (the maker of the Ground Hawk) has the issue under control!
Amazed at the bullet numbers I found at this burnt out spot!! Five more .73 cal. round balls & at least one side cast Enfield! Any assistance on an ID of the pistol bullet?

Thanks For Looking,
Happy Hunting,
Good Luck, Roger

Them are some great dropped bullets Roger! I'm curious though, bullet on bottom row third from the right. I've never seen one like that before. Is it a carved minie?

Steve,

To me that bullet looks like one that has been carved into that shape...... he did a good job on it too.... can't see the whittling marks.

That is a neat carved bullet, I have found a few like that. That soldier did a nice job on that one. Tsgman
