Hey guys, I found what I think is a bullet casing but it is unlike any casing I have ever seen. The tip seems to be blown apart and it also appears to have rifling grooves on it. It is as if the whole casing was fired from a rifle. Any ideas?

Hey guys, I found what I believe to be a 3 inch Hotchkiss lead sabot. It still has some iron attached to one side of it. I'm not completely sure that this is a sabot because it is my first time finding one and would like to hear your oppinions.
